Midland Valley - the structural geology experts

The University of Canterbury, who joined the Academic Software Initiative (ASI) in May 2009 recently used Move within a MSc class to help the sudents visualise and understand problems, and learn the major progression steps for a regional project.  The students visited the Castle Hill Basin, a small intramontane basin located in the foothills of the Southern Alps, and followed a workflow consisting of 10 steps.

The University of Leeds recently renewed their Academic Software Initiative licenses, doubling the amount of free Move licenses to 50.

The University joined the ASI in 2009 and has been using their free licenses of Move extensively, with the software becoming an integral resource in their MSc Structural Geology with Geophysics.
