Young Geoscientist Program
Through our Young Geoscientist Program we hope to encourage and assist young professionals making that critical first step from university into employment.
The Program is available to all new graduates from departments participating in our Academic Software Initiative. Under this program Midland Valley is offering free use of all of our Move software for 12 months. Licences run for twelve months from activation and are installed on the graduate's PC (not provided by a commercial company). The free licence under this scheme is not transferable or extendable beyond the twelve month period.
Founding Director Alan Gibbs says, “Getting that first step up on the career ladder is always difficult and everyone needs a bit of help. We hope this will enable new graduates to continue to develop their expertise and prepare for interview. It will enable them to complete presentations and publication materials based on their academic work.”

The Young Geoscientist Program Licence can be used for commercial work within this period but cannot sit on a commercial company's hardware.
Graduates who have graduated in the last 12 months can apply by sending a copy of their graduation certificate to academic@mve.com.
