University of the Western Cape
The University of the Western Cape, South Africa, joined the Academic Software Initiative (ASI) in September 2011, opting for our Standard Academic Package of 20 Move Licenses to sit in their HIVE (Highly Immersive Visualisation Environment) plus a further two for MSc Students individual work.
The HIVE, which is funded by the University and BP, was opened in April 2011 by Archbishop Desmond Tutu and provides a unique 3D modelling and visualization centre for students in the Department of Geology. Read the University's Press Release.
