University of Adelaide
The University of Adelaide, joined the Academic Software Initiative (ASI) after its inception in 2008, requesting 40 Move Licenses to sit on a computer network which they have recently increased to 50.
Move has been used in 2 different courses at the University of Adelaide:
- Structural Geology and Geomechanics class for Honours and Master (20 students) – Interpretation and balancing of section across the Otway Basin in SE Australia (based on 2D seismic data)
- Structural Geology and Seismic methods, for 3rd year Petroleum Engineering and Petroleum Geoscience Undergraduate student (20 students). Interpretation and blancing of a section across the Gippsland Basin in SE Australia (based on 2D seismic data)
The ASI licenses have also been used in:
- PhD research: Tectonics of the Ceduna Delta.
- PhD Research: Fault modelling: Application to Geological storage of CO2 in the Gippsland Basin of Australia
- Honours Thesis: Structure and sediment provenance of sediments in the Cuddapah Basin
- Honours Thesis: Structure of the Nallamalai fold belt in India.
