Ain Shams University, Egypt, joined the Academic Software Initiative (ASI) in August 2010, opting for our Standard Academic Package of 20 Move Licenses to sit on a computer network.
The ASI Move licences have been mainly used for BSc students graduation research projects.
In one project, a student created and used the project file below using 2DMove to digitise and restore one of the seismic sections in the Gulf of Suez Rift of Egypt.
Dr Mohamed Yousef said "the provided Move Tutorials helped the students very much for learning more about restoration workflow".
