In-house Training & Technical Transfers Specialised Training and Technical Transfers for individuals and companies is available on request, tailoring training on our software to meet the requirements specified by the client around their own datasets. A general in-house training lasts one week and is split in two: the first half of the week focussing on software training in Move and the second half learning structural geology techniques and workflows using Move which are specific to the client.
Public Training Our Public Training courses are normally held at our Glasgow headquarters and follow a fixed course structure over 3-days and include all components and modules within Move using Midland Valley data and tutorials. The course includes a number of presentations and on-screen demonstration movies, but largely focuses on hands-on exercises. All attendees will be given a tutorial pack including a full set of bound Midland Valley tutorials with data files. Dates and information on our Public Training days can be found on our calendar. A course overview can be found here.
Skills Transfer Our Skills Transfer activities include training courses, field seminars, project workshops and ongoing health-check visits from our team to work with our clients. We aim to reduce jargon to a minimum and to ensure you understand the necessary essentials to allow you to make the best use of structural geology.
