Restoration (all restoration algorithms support SEGY and image data as well as the line and polygon data)

Move on Fault - restoration involving hangingwall objects deforming/restoring along a user defined fault

  • Trishear - 'move on fault' restoration using a Trishear algorithm

Unfold to target - restoration of fault block objects, deforming/restoring to a user defined target or datum

  • Line length unfold - unfolding of line objects with or without a 'pin'. The lines are unfolded as individual objects and line length of all objects is maintained

  • Restore - unfolding/folding of objects using a shear algorithm

Operations (all back stripping algorithms support SEGY and image data as well as the line and polygon data)

  • Depth convert - conversion of time sections to depth and vice-versa using interval velocities or a range of functions for Time Depth, Depth Time, Velocity Depth and Velocity Time.
  • Decompaction - compaction/decompaction of a section with or without airy or flexural isostasy as defined by the user with the ability to carry out burial history analysis
  • Flexural Isostasy - flexural isostasy of a section as a result of a user definable load/unload
  • Construct Fault - toolbox to auto construct either a normal or a reverse fault from horizon data using either a flexural slip or an inclined shear algorithm. The depth to detachment can also be calculated
  • Construct Beds - toolbox to construct stratigraphy above or below a known stratigraphic marker. This tool may be used interactively with dip data using dip domains.  Linked to the stratigraphic column.

Analysis

  • Orientation analysis - extensive plotting (Stereo, Rose, Tangent, Azim v. Dip, Dip v. Depth) and analysis (Fischer, Principal component, T & L direction, Best-Fit Great Circle and more) tools for well and field orientation data.  Including I/O, contouring, selection, display and editing capability.
