On UNIX:

Download the following utility, relevant to your platform, Solaris version lmutil.gz, IRIX version lmutil.gz

prompt# gzip -d lmutil.gz
prompt# ./lmutil lmhostid
Your HostId will be displayed on-screen.

You may need to make the download file executable,  chmod 775 lmutil’, will do so.

On Windows:

Download lmtools.exe, double click to run, click on the systems settings tab, the HostId appears as the Ethernet Address’
